Welcome to Your New Journal – Guided Prompts, Lyrics & Stickers 💚

Thank you for investing in yourself. This journal is a space to slow down, reflect, and connect with the best version of you.

When I journal, I often just write whatever comes to mind—documenting my day and my emotions as they pop up. Free-flow writing can be powerful. (If you want to explore this more, check out Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way—it’s truly amazing.)

Aside from free-flow writing, here are some of my favorite prompts that get right to the point and work super well for me:

Magical 3’s ✨

This has been one of my all-time favorites. Sometimes this is all I do when I open my journal to start the day. Throughout the day, I often keep my journal with me and reference this when I get off track:

3 people who inspire me today

  • My Future Self

  • My Parents

  • Chris Martin (Coldplay)

3 things I’m grateful for today

  • I am grateful for my health

  • I am grateful for my job

  • I am grateful for hot coffee

3 words or phrases to live by today

  • Curiosity

  • Intention

  • Service

3 most important goals today

  • Finish recording the new song

  • Get lunch with Grandma

  • Send that one important email

Developing The Relationship with Myself (Inspired by Lisa Nichols) 🧘

I’ve used this practice for years—it always helps me reconnect and keep the relationship I have with myself in good standing. It takes consistent checking in. Take a moment to notice today: What emotions have been sticking with me the last few days? What feels good in my life?

Answer each of the prompts three times. Be specific, gentle, and honest. If you do this every morning for a week or two, your life will DEFINITELY change and the relationship with yourself will improve. Confidence and self-trust and respect will strengthen. We are becoming the best versions of ourselves by doing things like this.

Give yourself credit where it’s due 📝

John, I’m proud that you…

• John, I’m proud that you followed through and went to the gym
• John, I’m soooooo proud that you released your second album! I know this means a lot to you
• John, I’m so proud that you took time to call your grandma today and make plans, even amongst your busy schedule

Go easy on yourself where you’ve fallen short 🌱

(This one is juicy! Be gentle. There might be a part of you that’s hurting or needs some love and attention… Maybe after a few days or weeks, things on this list will eventually all fade away once you do this. exercise… I’ve seen miracles doing this one consistently… it’s an opportunity to make things right with yourself, however long it takes)

John, I forgive you for…

• John, I forgive you for skipping your morning routine yesterday. I know you were rushed. That’s alright.
• John, I forgive you for being a little short with Grandma on the phone yesterday. I see you were stressed and truly needed a moment to yourself. It’s okay. I know you’ll do better next time.
• John, I forgive you for not living up to your potential and playing small. I forgive you for not knowing what to do or how to ask for more help in areas you’re struggling. I know you are doing the best you can.

Naturally, It’s now time to set fresh intentions with renewed inspiration 🕊️

John, I commit to you…

• John, I commit to you that I will never, ever give up on my dreams. Even if I play small sometimes, make a mistake, or fall short, I will just keep going and start again. In a long enough timeline, I will win!
• John, I commit to you that I will move more slowly through my day, with greater intention and presence
• John, I commit to you that I will book 3 yoga classes next week because I truly know and feel ready to make this decision. I know that will really help every other area of my life.

📝 A Few Thoughts on Journaling

Every morning is a chance for us to begin again. When we give ourselves time to write before we check in with the world, even before going on social media, we create space for clarity, calm, and inspiration. Our dreams feel more on the surface and not lost in the fog. I believe we can live our dreams. Keep going!

Remember: Nobody changes until they change their energy. If you change your energy, you change your life. — Dr. Joe Dispenza

Your dreams are worth the time and attention. You are worth your time and attention, too!!
Thank you for showing up, choosing love, and choosing yourself TODAY.

Much love,
